Basket Weaving is one of the activities Red Rocks offers. The art of basketry weaving is important in Rwandan culture. Traditionally, they are made by mothers and passed down to their daughters. The baskets can be of different shapes and colors. The process is long, luckily the women are patient and great teachers. The baskets constitute a great souvenir for tourists to bring back home and they can be bought at Red Rocks.
